Building your profile
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. Your profile is shown to employers in an anonymised form — your name and contact details are never public. They're released only after you (and our team) approve an employer's access request.
Does it cost anything to create a profile?
No. Creating a candidate profile and being discovered by employers is free.
Who can join as a candidate?
Veterinarians, RVTs/technicians, students, specialists, practice managers, researchers, international graduates and academia/industry professionals are all welcome.
How do I get matched to opportunities?
We match on specialty, experience, eligibility, location and availability, so relevant roles and employers can find you. You can also browse and apply to jobs directly.
Hiring on JobMatch.VET
How do I see a candidate's contact details?
Browse anonymised profiles and submit a profile-access request. Our team reviews each request; once approved, the candidate's details are shared with you.
What kinds of roles can I post?
Full-time, part-time, locum, emergency cover, specialty, academia/research and internship/externship positions.
Can your team help with the hiring?
Yes. With assisted recruitment support, our team can screen candidates, review qualifications and build shortlists for you.
Why are requests reviewed by your team?
Every application and access request is reviewed administratively to maintain platform quality, protect candidates, and keep communication structured.
Relief & locum work
How does the locum network match shifts?
You opt in and set your travel radius. We match you to available shifts within your area by specialty and availability, and our team coordinates the booking.
Is there a fee for locum placements?
A simple, transparent service fee applies to placements and is disclosed up front.
Do I have to appear on the locum network?
No — it's opt-in and off by default. You choose when to be available, and your identity stays protected.
